Where I've Been...

So I feel like every time I post I say I'm sorry for being a terrible blogger/slash friend and I vow to be better, but I never am. So this time I'll just say here's my one blog post for any potential number of months. I'm a horrible blogger as far as timeliness...something I've just grown to accept. On that note, here are things I've been happy about lately.

1--Jos is home!! So sorry that I was a working bum all weekend when you were here and couldn't get away from work/sleeping to play with you. If it makes you feel better, you are definitely not the only person in my life who got forgotten while I was working night shift.

2--Disneyland. I don't care how many times I have gone or how old I get or how it probably shouldn't be one of my favorite things anymore, but Disneyland still makes me feel like a giddy 12 year old. Couldn't get enough of everything there--all the rides, characters, but mostly spending some quality time with my sisters and watching madie's cheer squad take first at nationals.

After the big performance/before the great news.

Early morning on Alice in Wonderland. We are so adventurous.
Definitely stalked these two down until they stopped so we could take a pic with them.
3--Las Vegas. Reunion time with Jess and Kim who are living it up in the bay area. Our official reason for going was a friend's wedding...but really it was just an excuse to party/shop/see Jimmer. The trip involved a lot of dancing and jumping on the bed, getting upgraded for free, spending full days shopping, basketball, dancing, and singing at the top of our lungs to pop songs in the car. Basically, everything that I love.

Father time meets dumbledore meets merlin from the sword and the stone. I apologize for the way my face looks but this man is too great to keep to myself.

Free upgrade. Travel tip: always be really chatty with the maintenance man who fixes your t.v. He might tell the front desk he can't fix it just so you can have a better room for free.
4--Denver. Nephews. I'm obsessed with them. Ricky and Tisha were such great hosts and I always love to spend time with them. Denver is my official vacation spot as long as their family is there. Activities included the butterfly pavilion, outings at the park, and the lovely drive from colorado to utah so the boys could visit everyone else out here slash meet doug's fiancee.

Really though. Just look at his bald head. Love him.Snuggle time in Utah. I think we were watching a show about the Titanic. When they learned that some people died in the wreck Finlay turned to me and said "but it's okay because they will be resurrected!" That kid knows his stuff.

His cheeks. I always want to squish them.
Also, we taught Merrick how to Jimmer. He's great at it. Too bad he'll mostly likely be a shorty because he's got an early start.
5--Atlantis. I wish I was exaggerating when I say this is the best vacation I can remember going on in a long long time. Mostly I have a lot to say about this one so it's getting it's own post.

The view from our window.

6--This is going to sound fake, but honestly I love my job. Even though I have to work all the time and somehow miss out on all the good times. And I'm back on day shift so I am alive again to the world. Success.
