my ladies.

i feel like its time for an update from this girl.
so here it is.

sometimes i like to have really bad luck with vehicles slash the law. i'm holding my second ticket in two weeks and big thunder decided to go crazy so my brother in law came and got us from provo the other day. who knew that you couldnt park too close to a sidewalk (that would be the reason for the ticket, not the tow haha)?? not me.

but here is something on a more lucky note..well depending on how you look at it and how your feelings are towards especially for youth. i know we all thought i had put my efy-ness away for good back in 2008 (where this picture came from and i actually took from this blog) but God has a different plan and i'm going to be a BC for the summer. i didnt think i would do efy again and never ever wanted to be anything other than a counselor but it kind of just fell in my lap. i feel really good about it and i know it is what Heavenly Father wants me to do for the summer. i never intended to be an efy all star but it looks like it is out of my control. it will be kind of intense but if D can do it so can i! so if anyone wants to visit, i will be living at byu campus from the end of may till the begining of august, with a trip to seattle in between.

other than that, nothing too new. oh! i mowed our lawn today. haven't done that in like 7 years. in the words of grace, "i just had a flashback of highschool!" also, even though i currently am not making money i felt it wise to buy a brand new imac and a canon rebel. it's fine. who needs savings these days right?

love you girls. so so much.

Happy!

Probably I should be sleeping right now, but I hate the process of actually going to bed, so here I am instead. Today = greatest day I've had for a long time, and I'll tell you why I'm so happy.

Number one, my team is going to Nationals! We got the invitation to go today. I really wish you could have all been around when I got the text from my coach. Let's just say there was lots of jumping and screaming and just general excitement. We haven't been since my freshman year on the team, so it's a good year to be a cougar, and an even better year to be a senior. We won regionals last week, here's a pic of me lovin the trophy.

P.S...Jessie and I may or may not have taken the trophy out for a night on the town on Saturday night. I'd just like to throw out there that Dr. Pepper tastes absolutely fantastic out of a trophy.

Reason #2--I graduate on Thursday/Friday! Sort of anticlimactic since I've been done with school and tests since last Tuesday, but I've had a fantastic week of soaking up the sun at the pool and park, which makes me sooooo happy. This is a pic from Sam's graduation last year...and although I won't have a trampoline to help me celebrate, I'd like to think I'll be just as excited.

Reason #3--The Jazz pulled off a win tonight! Love me a little D-Will, but I think my vote for MVP for the night goes to Kyle Korver. Didn't have tons of points, but sure drilled the shots when we needed a little shove of momentum. Love him.

Reason #4--I have another nephew on the way! Tisha is pregnant, expecting August 31st and I can't wait to be aunt to a new little tyke! Love Ricky, Tisha, Emerson, and Finlay, and can't wait for the new addition.

Sun+Lacrosse+No School+New Nephew+Good Jazz game=One happy camper.

Entertainment

Moving glass cup. from Grace Poulsen on Vimeo.

Remember when we used to all live together and weird things happened? Like the time I left Megan's strainer on a burner and it melted, or when we found that puzzle that fell and stuck in the cupboard or when our poster got stolen off our door. (I can't even remember what poster that was. But i think it was a girl scout poster?)

The other night I was doing the dishes and I swear this glass was haunted. There is no slant! I know science can explain it but I was entertained. Sorry for the dumbest video ever

i'm still your number 1 fan.

hi. sorry this is the first post of after my mission time. i made one on my blog once but then i got real bored of it so it actually never got finished. but brynne has been pretty good at documentation and so has my sister becky at times so check that out.
but i just wanted to say three things.

1. brynne has been such a nice friend during this time of me hating life and wishing i was back in taiwan everyday.
2. d has also been a big support and to prove our friendship we bought matching hats at forever 21.
3. i promised d on my mission that i would make it to her games and somehow the last game came creeping up and in reality i probably didnt have time to go but the time was made and it was the best 10 minutes of my life.
i appreciated this and i hope you noticed the deliberate cut off on the letter "D".
me and richard just watching so intently.
the d stance.
and the fam. i forgot to put in the picture of the crazy tots at the top with their swords but d i'm sure you remember.

ok. i actually have four things to say

4. i havent seen anyone else (i.e. grace) and it makes me feel real sad inside. i blame it on ashley mills.

one more

5. how do i get access to beths secret blog? my invitation expired and i cried a little bit.

this was a way dumb post. probably very closely related to my life as of late. i often think of the yellow house and feel like crying and sometimes i really do. but its ok. i'm sure someday beth will come back from korea and jos will come back from argentina and grace will come back from new york and we will force blue stupid pirate girls out and paint the yellow house yellow again and we will once again be together. and grace i guess you can bring dave along since you are now married and all. that is the end of my thought.

love you girfs.

oh hey, sugarhouse.

i have lots of pics but these are the ones i choose to share.
meg and ryan let me and danny go to brian regan with them a couple weeks ago.
it was funny.
danny wore his matix jacket and i told him me and grace loved it long ago.
ryan told me and meg he felt funny about walking around campus with two non-byu students after a thursday lunch.
so we decided to look as studious as possible.
truth is - neither of us even miss school one ounce.
i saw how nice sugarhouse park looked on my way home yesterday afternoon and ran inside and made my roommates drive back over with me.
it was so nice.
friday i went to the graphic design program's final show with brooke to see sister gloria pak who served in the kswm.
i was taller than everyone in my heels and thought rolling my ankle and slouching was better than being 3 inches taller.
i thought wrong.
this is my request:
be my friend in sugarhouse everyone.
or we can be friends in provo.
or west valley.
or nyc.
or busan.
or salta.
this friendship can happen via:
web chat
letters
postcards
pictures
blogs
facebook
txt
email
music
etc
the options are essentially endless.
let's make it happen, kk?
love to each of my girrrrrrls.

oh and ps.
my latest ambition of becoming a florist is coming true!
flowers on vine employee on saturdays and maybe some friday afternoons.
wish me luck.
aaaand floral internship with grace's best florist starts soon too.
thanks life for being so nice.

Miss You Provo Saturdays

I wish we could all get together and sit on the roof and drink slurpees. Hope everyone has a magical saturday!
